Elizabeth Stewart

I know I don’t look like an “Elizabeth Stewart,” but I can explain. I was adopted from China by a single mom who is obviously white. I grew up in a family of all women with my mom, my grandma, my sister, and my dog. They have inspired me to write female-centric stories with strong, yet complex, familial connections. I love finding humor in uncomfortable situations like my mom learning Mandarin to adopt my Cantonese sister. I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2024 and am currently in UCLA’s master’s screenwriting program.
